Our Wedding

We matched on the Baklava Dating App because obviously love should start with something sweet. Soon we discovered our families were already woven together (our cousins are married to each other!), and we were too: same music, same food, same travel dreams, same movies and yes, we even dance to the same beat. We laugh. A lot.We’re both proudly Jordanian and Arab, raised in loving Christian homes baptized as infants, then re-baptized as adults: Aimee in the Jordan River, Khaldoun at Willow Creek. We love God and want our lives to reflect His goodness, grace, and beauty to the world.Five months in, with hearts aligned and just enough differences to keep life exciting, Khaldoun proposed. We’re excited for a lifetime of shared playlists, shared plates, shared flights and, God willing, a few Arab Christian babies we lovingly call our “little rabbits” to chase around.From baklava to “beloved,” this is our sweetest adventure yet.
